Jesus Took the “bread”

If you are familiar at all with the Passover and the last suppor of then you will know the events that happened that evening.  There are some very powerful symbols that Jesus gave us and I want to explore one of them today.

There was a message brought this week at church that opened my eyes to this very thing and  its stirring in my heart.  Luke 24:30 Luke 24. “When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them.”
‭‭The part I want to explore is the first part.  “He took the bread”.

I do believe this is our very calling as believers, and that is the TAKE our calling that has been given to us and run with it.  Paul wrote, we need to run that race that is before us and for all of us its a little different.  We are the body of Christ not just a stand alone person in this world.

If you don’t know what your calling is… take some time this week if not TODAY and ask the Lord what you have been called to do specifically.  You are an important part and the world needs what you have to offer.  I urge you today to run to the Lord and find your mission on this earth and take the call and be bold.

Be blessed.  I pray this message stirs you to press forward in the things of God and in his Grace.  Remember, Jesus is Lord.
